Febuary Student Reflection

 Today I was learning to reflect.

We needed to think back on our learning to show what we could learn more, then fill out this google drawing based on our learning

Today I was learning to make connections to what I read.

I enjoyed looking back on what I read because it makes me have a better result.

I found Identifying the fingerprints challenging because it challenges me to use my instincts.

Next time I would change how I recorded my data because there were other and more efficient ways to record it.

My Lenten Promises

I was learning about the lenten promises.

I enjoyed coloring my work because it challenging me to work fast and not get distracted.   

I found getting it finished hard because I was getting distracted.

My lenten promises are to give up lollies pray every day and put money in the Caritas box every week.  

handwriting differences

 I was learning to make connections to what I was reading,

I enjoyed experimenting with handwriting because it was interesting to see how everyone's handwriting is different, 

I found doing my best handwriting challenging 

What is prayer

I was learning about what prayer is.

I enjoyed creating my prayer.

I found making a prayer like my one challenging because the prayer had to be the perfect match read my prayer and what prayer is below.

Today I was learning how to summerise

I enjoyed making my lantern

I found completed in the right amount of time challenging

I would change my facial expression because it makes me look weird

Art / taking photos

 For art, we have been learning how to take perfect photos.

The light filtering through the trees was tricky to angle perfectly.

I loved looking at the wondrous photos I took.

I enjoyed learning about how many things I have in common with a tiger

I found it challenging to go deeper into my information

I enjoyed adding images onto my gif because it made me use my creative learning skills

I found thinking of rules for my Chromebook challenging because my mind went blank

Next time I would change my font a bit more because there were heaps of one font

 Hi, My name is James, I'm a year 6 at St Mary's School Gisborne. I like to play sports of every kind. I’m Mainly Scottish and European. I am good at coding and crafting on my Chromebook. I enjoy everything to do with maths, board games and food. My goals are to be a house caption and get better at writing.
