Senior school tryathlon

Today I was learning use powerful verbs and adverbs

I enjoyed writing my plan

I found it challenging to use my plan to write

Senior year 5s Beep! “There off to a great start” yelled Miss Tilly. oh hi my name's James I’m racing in my school tryathlon speeding past everyone 5th, 4th, 3rd! I was like a bullet but forgot how long it was soon I was at a slow jog alongside aedan. He had a plan: we would jog to the next flag then go all out, zoom, we race to the finish line, grab our bikes, hanck on our helmets and head off.

I was like a tiger racing off but then. Bump! My bike stops and it takes 5 minutes to get it going again. That puts me last. I speed into 5th and stay there. It’s so painful but I think “I can do this”

Splash! I'm like a fish in the water I speed into 4th. it’s tight me just hanging in there. Bang! Unasie banes into the wall! Letting me take over

Shhhhh! I glide to the end, get out and run to the line “well done james” Miss tilly tells me I came forth and my friend lifts me up and cheers. It was the most painful day of my life but the best.

Saint Patrick's Day

Today I was learning about saint patrick because it was saint pats day
I enjoyed doing the work sheets that we had to do before we did this because T or F is my favorite 
I found it challenging to get images for reuse because there weren't a lot to choose from
Next time I would change the colors because some you can't read it

Stop Motion

this week me and billy have bean learning about stop motion
we found it tricky to do evry thing becuse we had  done it but there was an app we were suposted to do it on
we enjoy the experinace

Senior School Swimming

Smash! On monday I had gracefully dived into the enterprise pool for my last race. it was rapidly throwing me comron and benjamin about. We were racing for the end and then we all lost balance we rolled about for a while then we gained balance. zoom! I could hear the crowd cheering as we were swimming like it was no one's business.

“Freestyle 25 meters come with me,'' Mr H cried. Me and the other racers came to the freezing block. The suspense was killing us beep! The whistle goes we leap into the glimmering water

Back at the block we were getting ready for backstroke. Beep! the whistle went. shhhh! We had pushed off the block with incredible power. We whizzed off like a bullet. It was harder than I had thought and I was thinking “I can do this".

I was feeling so proud of myself. My friends were cheering for me. I had done so well in my first two races now it all came down to these last races. Boom I had shot off like lightning to the other side in first. Next we gracefully flopped into the pool. We were as slow as a tortoise then we slowly crossed the finish line in first. Zoom it was tight I could see my opposition was gaining on me they were one meter away and..
