Today I was learning how to write a Tanka. It was hard to find out how many syllables were in each word so I used this site https://www.howmanysyllables.com/syllable_counter/
This is another great poem! Great work counting the syllables and finding words to fit in the Tanka structure. Well done being resourceful and finding a way to help check syllables online.
I think this poem is about a bird, but I can't think of which type of bird! You’ll have to give me another clue!
Do you enjoy writing poems like these? I think you’re very good at describing things without naming them at all, which is a very tricky and special thing to do!
Keep up the awesome mahi, don’t forget to submit your poems! You can also read poems written by other bloggers here!
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments: Positive - something done well Thoughtful - a sentence to let me know that you have read, watched or listened to my blog Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question
